Meghalaya (Abode of Clouds in Sanskrit) is one of the seven North-Eastern states of India. Famous for its high rainfall, subtropical forests and biodiversity, it is abutted by Assam in the north and east and by Bangladesh in the south. The River Brahmaputra (or Luit as called locally) forms the border in the west
The state’s territory constituted the Khasi-Jaintia Hills and Garo Hills districts of Assam until 1972. Most of the terrain is hilly and experiences heavy rainfall during monsoons.

Itinerary:
Arrive at Guwahati airport (before noon).
Pickup at 12:30 PM and depart for Shillong.
En route, visit Umiam Lake one of Meghalaya’s largest artificial lakes.
Enjoy optional boating at Umiam.
Reach Shillong by evening, check-in to hotel.
Evening stroll at Police Bazar (like Mall Road).
Overnight stay in Shillong.
Check out after breakfast around 10:00 AM.
Drive to Cherrapunjee (locally called Sohra).
En route, stop at Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint.
Visit Wahkabah Falls, Arwah Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Waterfall.
Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
After breakfast, visit Wei Sawdong Falls (you can swim here).
Trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge (~3500 steps) or visit Tempu Waterfalls.
Return to hotel by evening.
Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
Check out after breakfast by 9:00 AM.
Visit Single Root Bridge.
Explore Mawphlang Sacred Grove – a glimpse into Khasi beliefs.
Head to Dawki (Indo-Bangladesh border).
Optional boating in the crystal-clear Dawki River.
Transfer to Shnongpdeng village for lakeside camping.
Enjoy a bonfire and overnight stay by the lake.
Breakfast and optional adventure activities by 8:00 AM (own cost).
Checkout from campsite by 11:00 AM.
Drive back to Shillong.

Payment & Cancellation Policy:
50% INR payment at the time of registration
Balance payment 4 days before departure
Registration charges are non-refundable.
If cancellations are made within 2 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
However, no refund will be provided for the same.
In case of lockdown in destination place, credit shell will be released. You can use it in further bookings, after deduction of IRCTC/airlines cancellation charges.
If cancelled 5 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
